16 & 17 Weeks

How far along? 16 weeks

Total weight gain: Maybe 1-2lbs.  Still not getting on the scale until I have to!

Maternity clothes? Yes, just pants so far, but my shirts will be coming soon I’m sure

Stretch marks? Not yet.

Sleep: Still pretty sleepy.  Naps are my friend.

Best moment this week:  Spending time playing with Lucas.  He is the happiest boy I know.

Miss Anything?  Nothing in particular this week.

Movement: Just a little bit.  No kicking yet.  I’m hoping this baby doesn’t kick as hard as Lucas, I honestly thought he was going to break one of my ribs.

Food cravings: Sweet Stuff.  I was lucky enough to have the sweetest husband who ran out on Saturday afternoon in the rain to get French Toast and fruit for dinner!  Let’s just say, Mommy & Baby were thankful!  

Have you started to show yet: No going back now!

Happy or Moody most of the time: happy :)

Looking forward to:  Getting closer to the date where we get to see our little one for the first time!! 

Lucas already loves his baby sister or brother!

How far along? 17 weeks

Total weight gain: 5lbs, I’m just waiting for this number to jump up.

Maternity clothes?  Sure am.  Got some really great deals this week, so that was awesome!  Ready for summer time now.

Stretch marks? Not yet.

Sleep: Getting better.  Night time seems to be kind of rough. 

Best moment this week:  Ben and I celebrated 10 years of dating on Friday.  He was so sweet and planned a surprise date night back to Miami.  It’s hard to believe how much has changed in the last 10 years.

Miss Anything?  Doing good this week.  Wouldn’t have minded a nice Margarita for Cinco de Mayo though!

Movement: Feeling some random jabs every now and then.  Nothing constant yet.

Food cravings: Back to potatoes!! MMMMM Roasted Red Potatoes for dinner are delicious!

Looking forward to:  Having friends in town! 2 of our friends will be here for a short visit while they are scoping out places to live when they move here (YAY!!) and the another friend will be in town next weekend!
