First Snow!

We got a mid-November snow here and the boys were stoked!  It was super cold (in the teens I think) but they wanted to go out anyway! Ben was in California for the week, so I kept Caleb inside with me.

Ready to go!

I made them measure the snow so we could count it as a school activity :)
About 3.5 inches!

Time to play!

Caleb got to participate in the after perks...... Hot Chocolate :)

He no longer seemed to mind missing going outside.

US Women's Soccer!

This summer was all about the US Women's National team and how the dominated the World Cup! The boys and I were able to watch every US game and loved every minuted of it.  Lucas especially was so into it.  Well when I saw that the team was playing an International Friendly in Columbus I knew we had to go.  Sure it was on a Thursday night in November and temperatures happened to about about 25 degrees, but we had a BLAST! I loved sharing this experience with them and taking them to their first professional sports game.  Luckily Tom and Terry kept Caleb so he got to stay warm and snuggle with them for the night :)

As an added bonus we were able to grab a quick dinner with Uncle Stephen before the game!

Waiting to see the players come out after halftime!
One of our favorites, Cincy native, Rose Lavelle!

Happy Halloween

This year Halloween was all about spiders! Lucas first picked that he wanted to be a spider and then Adam followed suit, so then I decided that it would just be a family affair!

We got to sneak to Lexington for our friend's Halloween party again this year! But first a grown up dinner at Mad Tree!
My favorite spider guy.

The itsy bitsy spiders......

He was so excited to wear his costume - which is great because I thought he was going to be afraid of it!

The boys loved crawling all over like spiders.
Cousins trick or treating in the 20 degree night with 15 mph winds.
Frankenstein, the queen, a baby shark, a dinosaur and three spiders :)
Living his best life getting pulled around in the wagon and candy!

He decided he wanted to walk!
These two troopers stayed out the whole 2 hours in the freezing cold!

All things Pumpkin

This year we got to paint pumpkins with Auntie K.  It was messy, but lots of fun!

Finished products!
And we got our jack-o-lantern carved before Halloween!

Adam was very hands on!
I enjoyed a nice pumpkin flavored beer while they did the work :)
Lucas drew the inspiration to the pumpkin design.
She's all done!
