33 Weeks

How far along? 33 weeks
Total weight gain: 22
Maternity clothes? They are pretty much all I wear.
Stretch marks? I think I am imagining them sometimes.  But I am sure some will sneak up on me and I will see them after the baby is born.
Sleep: Sleeping has gotten really uncomfortable.  I wake up many times during the night whether it's from some random stretching pain or because I have to pee :(
Best moment this week: Lucas and I had a good weekend.  Ben was camping with his guy friends, so it was just the 2 of us.  It was nice to spend so much time with him.  I also got the office a little organized and washed some baby clothes!!
Miss Anything? Good sleep.  I would kill for a full night of sleep without interruption these days.
Movement: ALL the time.  I wonder if he ever sleeps?!
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week.
Belly Button in or out? Oh it's out there, well at least on one side...
Wedding rings on or off? I still wear my wedding band because it's just a little bit bigger than my engagement ring.  But I am too nervous to wear my engagement ring because I don't think I could get it off!
Happy or Moody most of the time: happy for the most part, but I have noticed a couple crazy mood swings (Sorry everyone!)
Looking forward to:  Getting Lucas a big boy bed.  I am determined to get him out of the crib :)

31 and 32.... Getting Closer!

How far along? 32 weeks
Total weight gain: 22 according to the doctor

Best moment this week: We made the trek to the Washington DC area this weekend to visit Matt, Carly and Family along with the rest of the Hales.  It was a crazy fast weekend, but it's always nice to see everyone together.
Miss Anything? I saw some Pumpkin Beer at the grocery yesterday.  I'm not going to lie that I can't wait for one of these!
Movement: ALL the time.  Sometimes he is so forceful it hurts :(
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week.

Looking forward to:  Maybe checking things off of my to-do-list.  But let's be honest, I don't really think that is going to happen.  Let's just cross our fingers that Baby Boy has a name before he is born!

Learning to Ride

Lucas has been really in to riding his tricycle lately.  Living in a cul-de-sac is really nice for this.  Hardly any cars!  Here is our little guy in action.  He has a ways to go, but he is slowly getting the hang of it!

First Time "Camping"

Last night, Ben and Lucas camped out back in our yard!  Lucas helped his daddy set up the tent, collect firewood, we had a campfire, made s'mores and the little guy slept in the tent with daddy ALL NIGHT! I'm not going to lie, I thought that they would come in at some point in the night and sleep in the beds.  But they were both troopers and made it all night.  Both boys had a great time.  I think we for sure have a future boy scout on our hands.
This boy LOVES helping daddy with EVERYTHING!  It's so cute to watch him get so excited to do whatever Ben is doing.

 Testing out the tent!

 Time for firewood.

Marshmallow time.  Lucas did a great job staying away from the fire.
S'mores were a hit!  Sadly, he takes after me though and eats them super messy :)  Oh well, they are delicious!

 Family "camping" selfie.
Every camp out needs musical entertainment.
It's dark out - better get to the tent.
 Saying "goodnight Mommy!"

Waking up as a happy boy!
They made it all night! So proud of my little campers.

29 & 30

Best moment this week: Ben and his siblings planned a really nice surprise party for their mom's 60th birthday.  We ended having great weather and I think that everyone had a really great time.  Also, for my work, we had an offsite leaders meeting where we got to go canoeing.  That was a lot of fun!
Miss Anything? Nothing crazy this week.
Movement: ALL the time.  He seems to be a very strong little guy already.

Looking forward to:  We are headed out to the lake today with my family.  I am sure it will be a good time with Lucas' first time on a boat!

Summer Days

When I get to have a day off during the week I try to do something fun with Lucas.  A couple weeks ago we met up with my friend Lindsay and her son Everett who is  months younger than Lucas.  Both Lucas and Everett will be big brothers in September and October!  We went to the Mason library story time program.  It was perfect for their age.  There was some reading, music and at the end - bubbles!!

We went to Chick-a-fila for lunch afterward and the boys got to climb around in the play area because no one else was there!
This water table might have been my best investment this summer! Lucas can entertain himself by dumping cups of water in and out and everywhere else for hours!  It's a nice way for me to get to just sit on the deck and relax while watching him :)

Auntie K sent these pictures from when she was watching him the other day.  She blew the pool up for him and they had a blast.  He is definitely our little fish baby!

Back home with Mommy.  A day in the front yard pool and time for some bubbles.  My friend bought Lucas a bubble toy at the end of last year that I totally forgot about.  But when I got it out, the first thing he said was "Auntie Emmy give this to Lucas?"  His memory AMAZES me!
