Lucas' Newborn Pictures

We had a photographer come to our house to take Lucas' newborn pictures.  Here he is when he was 7 days old :) 

Lucas Patrick Hale is finally here!!

After we went to the doctor's office on 3/28 for my 41 week appointment, we found out that our baby was measuring to be 10lbs!! The doctor gave us the options to try induction or schedule a c-section.  We really wanted to avoid the c-section so we chose to be induced.  We went into the hospital on 3/29 at 3pm.  From 3pm-1am the doctors had to give me a pill for my cervix before starting the induction.  Around 1am I had made enough progress to begin!  We headed down to our Labor and Delivery room.  At this time they gave me an epidural and started the pitocin.  We thought it would still be a very long time before baby Hale made his appearance, but he was pretty quick.  Lucas Patrick Hale was born at 6:11AM (Mommy only had to push for about 40 minutes!)  He weighed 9lbs 5oz and was 22 inches long.  Needless to say, he was perfect (and worth the wait!).
