Welcome to the World, Adam!

So here we were again.  Over due with thoughts of a big baby.  The doctors didn't want me to go any further and I was slowly starting to lose my sanity, so we scheduled my induction for Thursday 10/15 in the morning.  We had to be there at 7AM.  My mom was nice enough to come down to our house that morning and stay with Lucas until she got the word that the baby was born.  

I know a lot of people say getting induced is terrible and a painful experience, but I must say, I have had 2 really smooth deliveries! This one was great.  They actually started at around 8:30AM, then I got my epidural at 10:30AM, took a nap, woke up and was ready to go! 2 pushes later at 1:32PM we had our beautifully large (and still nameless) baby boy!!   He was 9lbs 13oz (I was not expecting him to be THAT big - but hey - he's healthy and that's all that matters!) and 21 inches long.

Big brother Lucas got to be the first visitor.  He is still getting used to Adam, but I think they are going to be best buds.  I love seeing the two of them together already.  

By Friday night we were headed home!  Let the real fun begin............

41 Weeks and Counting

How far along? 4 weeks

Total weight gain: Does it really matter at this point?!?!

Maternity clothes? All the time.  And lots of yoga pants! And whatever is the biggest article of clothing that I can find.

Stretch marks? Yes :( I would have thought I would have been in the clear because I didn't really get many last time, but I guess not.

Sleep:I think I might sleep a full night again in about 10 years, maybe?  

Best moment this week: Getting some extra time with my boys.  We were able to go to the Pumpkin  Festival at the park by our house this weekend.  Lucas had a blast!

Miss Anything? I had to miss one of my best friend's baby shower this weekend because it was in Nashville.  That was a bummer, but can't wait to hear about her little guy too!

Movement: ALL the time.  He is a very strong little boy!  I am still feeling him up in my ribs.  I THINK he might have started to figure out which way to go, he's just really slow at it.

Food cravings: SWEETS!! Everything chocolate has my name on it.

Belly Button in or out? Oh it's out there, well at least on one side...

Wedding rings on or off? I still wear my wedding band because it's just a little bit bigger than my engagement ring.  But I am too nervous to wear my engagement ring because I don't think I could get it off!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but very anxious!!

Looking forward to: Baby Day! The doctor has me scheduled to be induced on 10/15/15 if he doesn't come out on his own!  I can't believe he will finally be here.  It's been quite the journey.  Hopefully the next picture I will post will be of our sweet little new addition!!! 

Kings Island

Both of our companies had a work event at King's Island this year, so Lucas was spoiled and got to go 2 weekends in a row! Being 37 weeks pregnant, I opted to only go the first weekend.  

This year Lucas could ride almost everything in Kiddie-Land.  We only went for a couple of hours each time, but he had a blast.

After a fun day at King's Island, Daddy and Lucas went to the Wulker family reunion while Mommy stayed home to get some rest.  It was really great to see family, especially Great Grandma Wanninger.  Lucas hasn't got to see her in a while.  It sure was nice to catch up!

Touch a Truck!

A couple of weeks ago I took Lucas to the local Touch A Truck.  He has been to a couple of these with his cousins, grandparents and daddy.  Needless to say, he had a great time.  He got to climb in all of the trucks!  

 The wheel was bigger than him!

Made it to 40 again!

How far along? 40 weeks

Total weight gain: 30 + is what I will call it.

Maternity clothes? All the time.  And lots of yoga pants! And sweat pants at home :)

Stretch marks? Yes :(

Sleep:I think I might sleep a full night again in about 10 years, maybe?  

Best moment this week: Spending some quality time with Lucas and Ben before we welcome our 4th member of the family.

Looking forward to: Well if he doesn't come out, we will get to at least see him in a ultrasound next week to make sure he is doing alright.

38 & 39 weeks

How far along? 39 weeks

Total weight gain: 30ish - I pretty much don't pay attention because let's face it - it's a lot.

Maternity clothes? All the time.  And lots of yoga pants!

Stretch marks? I think I found some :'(

Sleep: Sleeping has been awful.  I have been having the worst leg cramps at night.  Sometimes they will wake me up every hour.  Eating bananas has helped a little.

Best moment this week:People have been so sweet and bringing in nice little gifts for baby boy.

Miss Anything? A pumpkin beer!
