Puerto Rico - the Rain Forest

Ben has had to travel to Puerto Rico quite a few times this year.  This time we are very thankful that I got to tag along.  A special thanks to both sets of parents for keeping our boys and entertaining them for a week!! We had the BEST time.

Our first stop was to El Yunque - the only rain forest in the National Forest system :)  We did hike through a couple quick down pours, but I guess that should be expected.

 We finally made it up to the tower we were searching for :)

 On a clear day, you are supposed to be able to see the north and south side of the island from the tower.  It was completely foggy when we were up there so we didn't not get the same view.

Tractor Show

Last week TJ and Katherine invited us out to Georgetown Ohio to go to the antique Tractor Show.  The kids had such a great time :)

Winding down on Summer

We have just a little bit of Summer left, so we are trying to make the most of it!

 Daddy went to Louisville for work/to visit Gramps, so mommy and the boys hit up The Cone!

Pool Days

Summer got off to a chilly start here, but luckily we were still able to take advantage of the pool a lot :)  Both boys did some swim lessons and had so much fun in the water.

 Lucas mastered jumping off the diving board and swimming to the side by himself this year!  So this is where he spent most of his time :)

Both boys passed their levels this summer.  It is amazing to see how much they have improved!
