Last Warm Weekend

2 weeks ago I think we hit our last couple of days in the 90s.  So we took advantage! I took the boys up to Liberty Center to play in the fountains :)

The boys love getting wrapped up in their towels!
Sunglasses selfie with Mommy :)
Daddy enlisted the boys to help wash his truck and Mommy's Outlander.  It might not have been super productive and they used about 5 times more water, but they sure had fun!

Kings Island for the Big Guys

It was P&G Day at Kings Island.  I am sad that I didn't get to go, but I stayed at home with Caleb this year.  With the extra tickets, we invited Adam's Godparents (Judy and Bruce - unfortunately, Judy wasn't able to attend).  The boys had a blast with Daddy and Uncle Bruce!

Last Weekend as 4

This Labor Day Weekend was very nice.  We tried to spend as much time with the boys as possible as this is the last weekend as a family of 4 :)  Baby #3's due date is Wednesday, but if baby doesn't come by Saturday, I am going into the hospital in the morning to get induced.  :)

We went to Build a Bear on Friday to make Adam's big brother gift that he will get when the baby is born!
Ben was in his friend Kevin's wedding this weekend.  The boys had a great time on the dance floor.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
Family Selfie :)
Ben was a trooper and did one final backyard camping of the year with the boys.  Adam was a bit of a struggle this time, but overall I think everyone had a good time.
Monday morning we split up and got some one on one time with the boys.  I took Lucas to Cracker Barrel for breakfast!
I think he liked it!
We played some checkers out front on our way out.
Of course Lucas pretty much made up his own rules ;)
Ben and Adam went to the Original Pancake house for breakfast.
After nap the boys enjoyed a Popsicle and some time with the water table since it looks like it might be one of the last hot days for the year.

It was a busy and fun weekend with the boys.  It is hard to wrap my mind around the fact that this time next weekend there will be a newborn baby in our house!

Final Countdown

It was a very busy weekend.  Ben spent a lot of time helping my dad start building his new pole barn at their house and we had Grandma & Sam's birthday party.  Luckily we were able to sneak in just a little family of 4 time!

Family pictures at Glenwood Gardens

38.5 weeks! We are getting there!
Apparently I don't walk quick enough on our evening walks.  The boys had to sit down an wait for me at the end of our street HAHAHAHA.
Ben and I got to go out to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary this weekend :)

Hippie Boys

Natorps, a local nursery planted one of their fields with sunflowers for people to come take pictures with for free! So of course we had to take advantage.  Since Lucas has basically requested to live in his tie dye shirt, I figured nothing better and more hippie to wear in a field of sunflowers :)  Check out these sweet sweet boys!

Since the sunflowers have been here a while they were near the end of their life and we found a couple in the fields for the boys.  I love that they love to stop and smell the flowers :)

Soaking Up Summer

It's hard to believe that summer is coming to an end soon-ish and Baby #3 will be here!  We are trying to soak it all up and make sure the boys are having a great time!

Hiking with Ben at Keehner Park
Snack time while hiking might be their favorite part.
Ben and Lucas were invited to a little kids fishing fun evening with his friend Tyler's church.  Lucas had a blast.  He sure loves fishing!

And of course, when you go fishing with daddy, you kiss your fish (SICK!)
We made smoothies for afternoon snack the other day.  They were a hit as usual, but Adam might have worn more as a mustache that he ate :)

Papaw came to visit and gave the boys their horsey ride.
Lucas and I made a countdown chain for Baby #3's arrival.  Let's hope for my sanity that he/she is on time!
This peaceful looking guy has been getting up in the middle of the night again.  He has always struggled with sleeping.  Things are going to be rough with a newborn and him.  Hopefully the baby will sleep like Lucas did - like a champ! (fingers crossed!)
