It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas  is by far my most favorite holiday! I think it's because my birthday is just 4 days before Christmas, so I kind of claim the whole month of December as mine :)  I am so happy that Lucas seems to love it just as much as me.  We have a fake tree set up in our living room so you can see it from the street.
Lucas helping me decorate the front living room tree.

Maya wanted to get in on the action.

Adam  was quite as into the decorating since it was nap time.

But once he was awake he decided to smile with his Santa hat on.  I love this little smile :)

This weekend we went with Terry, Katherine, Phil, Cathy and the kids to cut down our Christmas tree.  We tried a new place that I found a Groupon for.  We went to Bartels Farm.  The family running the farm were so nice.
Lucas of course had to help daddy cut down the tree!

Love this picture of these two trouble makers!

With our tree! Now to get it home and decorate it :)

Gobble Gobble

I didn't get very many pictures this year, but here are a few from our Thanksgiving!  We sure do have a lot to be thankful for this year.  Adam was born, we have all been healthy and we have been able to spend lots of good times with family and friends.  We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving as well :)

Happy First Thanksgiving to our little man.
Meeting Gram and Gramps for the first time :)
I'm thankful for moments like these everyday!
Love our little guys.

Adam - One Month

I don't think that I fully understood the phrase, Time Flies, until I had the boys.  It seems like
just the other day I was still huge and pregnant, but now I have a one month old baby.  How does this happen?  You would think with the little amount of sleep that you get that time would actually move slower, but that is so not the case.  Adam turned 1 month old on Sunday.  It is hard to imagine our family without him.

He has great head control and loves being held, especially by his mommy :)  He has learned the art of grabbing things - ladies watch your necklaces and hair!

Lucas is still doing a great job with him.  He loves helping out.  He can't wait for Adam to get bigger though so he can teach him how to play with the trucks!

I don't think this little guy could get any cuter, but hey, I might be a little biased ;)

Adam's Newborn Pictures

Here are Adam's newborn pictures!!! I absolutley LOVE LOVE LOVE them.  A special thanks to Cara for these!  Check out these cuties!

That smile melts my heart <3
He is such a great big brother already!

My new favorite picture of all time! These two are my world.

Happy Friday from the Hale Family!!

Weeks 1 & 2 with Adam

Sorry for the absence of posting.  Life with 2 little ones is an adjustment to say the least.  It's going really well.  Lucas seems to being handling things pretty good. But man, not sleeping through the night and then taking care of a super energetic toddler who just wants to play with you all day is exhausting.  But we have two of the cutest/happiest/healthiest little boys, so I'm totally good with the trade off :)

We were really lucky that Ben got a week of paid paternity leave this time and then was able to work from home another week.  It actually kinda spoiled me having him here so much for the first two weeks, but we LOVED it.  Here are some pictures of Adam with some of his first visitors :)  Sorry to my girlfriends and Aunt Judy/Uncle Bruce, we forgot your picture :(  Guess that's just all the more reason to visit again soon!

We also want to say THANK YOU to everyone that came to see us and brought lots of goodies.  Everyone is so sweet :)
