New Beginnings

We did it! Ever since Lucas was born, Ben and I have desperately wanted me to be able to stay at home.  Unfortunately it just wasn't the right move at the time for us.  Luckily we were able to have the next best thing though which was our awesome family helping out watching him.  When we were ready for baby #2 we really buckled down and got everything in order.  So by the time Adam was born we were ready! Friday was my last day of work.  I am still not really sure if it has sunk in yet.  I will miss the friends that I have made there over the past 8 years, but I am beyond excited to get to be with my boys everyday!

So to celebrate we went out to dinner.  Lucas of course picked his favorite thing to eat..... tacos.

The night wouldn't be complete without a silly sombrero :)

Mommy's celebration drink! Yummy!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Winter  finally made it's way to Ohio and Lucas couldn't be happier.  The snow wasn't good enough make a snowman, but Ben was able to rig up the sled and pull Lucas around the yard.  He had a blast!!

Merry Christmas

We had such a good Christmas this year.  We were able to spend lots of time with friends and family.  Of course the boys (and me and Ben) got totally spoiled.  Lucas was loving everything related to Christmas.... the trees, the lights, singing Happy Birthday to Jesus.  It was so sweet.  He even remembers all the words to "Let it Snow", "Away in a Manger" and "Silent Night".  Adam slept through most of Christmas, but he sure looked cute doing it!

21 to 31

Let's face it, birthdays after your 21st just aren't as exciting as they used to be.  But this year as I turned 31 I looked at all that I had in my life.  Sure it wasn't really what I thought it would be.  But it's actually quite perfect in it's own crazy way!

In 10 years I was lucky enough to marry this guy, buy a house and have an amazing family.  I can't ask for anything more!

Boys will be Boys

These two little guys are the cutest things ever.  I can't get enough of them together!
Daddy Pile :)
Lucas VS Adam at 2 months.  Adam is bigger than Lucas was at this age by a little bit.  Both are super cute and always smiling!
One of Lucas' favorite thing is for Adam to lay in his bed with him.
Proof that they were actually sharing a room for a brief moment........ I think this lasted 30 or so minutes.  Baby steps for sure!
These boys sure do love their daddy.
And each other of course.........

Growing Adam

This little man is growing, growing, growing!  He is getting stronger everyday.  He doesn't hate tummy time anymore (as long as it's not too long!).  Just the other day he rolled from his belly to his back for the first time!  I am not sure who was more excited though...... Mommy or Lucas?  Lucas loves encouraging Adam and is very anxious for him to get bigger so he can play with him! I love watching their interactions :)

What??? Sitting up...... I can't believe it.  Lucas wasn't a huge fan of his bumbo.  So far Adam does OK.  Again as long as he's not in it for too long and people are still paying attention to him!

Big brother loves reading to little brother.  It melts my heart <3

And of course, there is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby! It would be extra sweet if he would sleep through the night, but hey, one day we will get there (fingers crossed!)
